Your credit report is your history. Anyone that says they can remove items from your credit is lying and out for your money.

It is *illegal* to dispute any accurate information on your credit report.

If you have derogatory items that are not incorrect, the only legal way to remove them is to get the reporting lender to willingly remove them for you. This is generally done with “goodwill” letters or “pay for delete” letters. A Google search should easily find examples of either.

Beware anyone who claims they can fix your credit for you. There is nothing that ANY company can do for your credit that you cannot do for yourself.

    I doubt that.

You as an individual can do plenty to address the repair of your credit, but it will take some time and dilgence. I suggest you refer to this free website - they have over 500 pages of free, easy to understand information about all items related to credit repair, debt settlement, debt negotiation, etc. They advocate strongly that you should do this on your own, not hire someone to rip you off to do it! Here is the link:

    Best of luck to you!
