Sarah asked:
I think someone has a credit card in my name because I’ve never had one before & when I applied for one I was denied b/c I somehow owe one already & I was told about some site that gives you a free credit report once a year, does anyone know what that is? I need one that doesn’t require a credit card or card numbers. Please help!

The only one that is recommended by the Federal Government is report.com it is free and you can get copies of all three of your credit reports.
After you get them, check every piece of information on them, if there is something there that is not true, get in touch with the credit bureau that it show up on and dispute the item. They have 30-days to prove that the information is true or they have to remove it.
Sarah, your first site to read is this:
You may be the victim of identity theft. This site will walk you through all the details of dealing with it, and how to get your credit reports.
